On 29 December 2014, BPS-Statistics Indonesia agreed to integrate Tobacco Questions for Surveys (TQS) prevalence questions into Indonesia’s National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) core questionnaire. SUSENAS is a series of large-scale multi-purpose socioeconomic surveys initiated in 1963-1964 and fielded every year or two since then. SUSENAS, in which TQS prevalence questions are integrated into it, was first implemented in March 2015 and the project was completed in March 2016.

During the implementation of the project, SESRIC organised a Study Visit on “Global Adult Tobacco Survey and Turkish Health Survey” on 25-26 April 2016 with the participation of 3 officials og BPS-Statistics Indonesia to Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
